Welcome to Allan Photography of Modesto CA. We specialize in creative, yet affordable professional photography for Modesto, Ceres, Turlock, Riverbank, Oakdale, Ripon, and Manteca, as well as Merced County, and the Central Valley of California.

This site has a Little bit everything. We offer Wedding Photography, Portrait Photography, Family Photography, Baby and Maternity Photography, event Photography , and High School Senior Portrait Photography. You also are invited to visit our Client Galleries. You can visit any of these sites by clicking the links tab above, or from any page click the licks tab.

You’ll find our photography prices very affordable. We have worked hard to keep our overhead low to allow us maintain competitive photography prices, and we don’t believe high prices mean high quality.

Lydia and Kwaku to wed at The River Mill

Dream Wedding at Viaggio Winery

Elizabeth & Justin had been planning their dream wedding for a long time, and this past weekend it all came together. With the help of the excellent staff and the Viaggio wedding planner, it was a perfect day. We started at the Viaggio mansion, which the bride and her bridesmaids spent the night at. Elizabeth and Justin checked into the Mansion yesterday afternoon in preparation for their wedding tonight. Joined by fellow Chico State Alumni, friends and family, the Viaggio staff walked them through a quick rehearsal and then party time. The Viaggio served some of the best pizza in the valley, and the service was great. We’re really looking forward to tonight.

Dads

Being a dad is what got me into photography when my first son was born. Later when we had three sons wanting to play soccer, little league, and all the other weekend sports, being a dad got me out of photography. When grand kids came it was time to get back into photography.

The things dads do are the things we photograph, welcoming babies into the world, celebrating the birthdays, sending them off to school, watching them graduate, and then sending them off into the world.

Pretty cool job!

Spring Creek Graffit Night

Maria & Michael, Del Rio Wedding

Maria and Michael met at Intel in the Bay Area. She’s from Russia, he’s from LA, and now they make their home in Palo Alto. Maria’s mother, sister, and aunt traveled to the US for the wedding. Michael’s parents traveled from LA. They all met at the home of Barbara & Sid Israeles at Del Rio Country Club. It was a perfect evening for an outdoor ceremony.

Haley & Chris, River Mill Wedding celebration

Chris flew in from his military posting the week before the wedding, and Haley had everything ready for a great wedding and reception. The River Mill came through again with a well planed and executed event. Even last minute rain, wind, and thunder couldn’t slow things down. The ceremony was moved indoors without a hitch and all was well. What a great venue.

Easter Brunch at Spring Creek Golf

The staff at Spring Creek did it again, another great event for their members and families.

Easter Sunday brunch at Spring Creek was the place to be. The club and staff were decked out in a Alice in Wonderland theme and everyone had a wonderful time. As always the food was great. The staff also hosted a Easter egg hunt for the all the kids. Check out the video.

Stacy & Kellin, Engagement Portraits

Stacy and Kellin are engaged to be married. The wedding is scheduled for for June 19th. They seemed pretty happy, in fact I don’t we were able to get any serious shots. They just smiled.This past Saturday we met them at CSUS, Stanislaus for their Engagement Portrait Session.

Japanese Garden Wedding for Sonia & Jason

This past Saturday afternoon Sonia and Jason were married at the Japanese Gardens in Mickey Grove, just south of Lodi. Their backup plan, in case of rain, was to use the Tea House. But the weather was beautiful and the wedding went just as planed. The Gardens were gorgeous, and full of great locations for Bridal Portraits. A wedding photographers dream location.

They followed up the ceremony with a reception at the Seasons in Modesto. The Seasons did a great job decorating in the Bride & Grooms Black & White theme. Their friends and family were all present and in the mood to party. And they did. Everyone seemed to have a great time.

All in all, a great day!

Sonia and Jason, their getting married this week!

Debbi and I always attend the Wedding rehearsal for our weddings. It’s a great way to get to know everyone, and to be prepared for the Wedding day. Yesterday was wedding rehearsal day for Sonia and Jason. They’ve selected the Japanese Gardens at Mickey Grove, just south of Lodi. What a gorgeous location. This is the first time we’ve had photographed a Wedding there, and I don’t no why as it’s an awesome location. We’re really looking forward to being their Wedding Photographers next Saturday.

The Ratto Family

It was family portrait day for the Ratto family last Sunday, come rain or shine. Well it was rain. But a portrait in the orchard was on the schedule and portrait in the orchard, in the rain, is what we did. As it turns out, I think everyone had a good time.
